Preparation of New Electoral Roll
The Electoral Roll is reviewed annually and every 6 years a new Electoral Roll must be prepared. This being the sixth year, all parishes are required to prepare a new Electoral Roll in advance of the Annual Parochial Church meetings, which for St Silas is on Sunday 4 May.
Irrespective of whether someone has been included on the Electoral Roll to date, in order to be included this year they are required to complete and sign a new form. Anyone not currently on the Electoral Roll and who wants to join should also complete the form. Please note that to remain on or join the roll there are certain criteria to be met.
A copy of the form and the criteria to be met can be downloaded below, blank forms are also available in church.
Once completed and signed the forms should be returned to the Electoral Roll Officer by Sunday 6th April.
If you have any questions please speak to David Kemp, the ER officer, who will be pleased to discuss them with you.
There is a “postbox” in the Narthex for completed forms.
Alternatively they can be emailed to:
Please note it is sufficient for application forms to have a typed name where a signature is required if sending this from a personal email address.
